Well the trip to Kragujevac in Serbia was a very very long 24 hr ordeal.  First train to Jerez airport at 9am.  Then flight to Barcelona.  Then flight to Belgrade.  Then cab to bus station because the plane was late and the last bus at 2am into Belgrade I missed by 30 minutes.

Fortunately I met a guy on the plane ride from Serbia that was going to the bus station in Belgrade too.  So he got us the cab and we split the tab.  Got to the bus station and the bus I was supposed to get to Kragujevac they discontinued 10 days before I got there.  So another couple of hour wait till the first bus in the morning came.

It worked out fine my friend from the plane was there and the bus he was going to get to where he was going was also canceled so he had to wait too.  We just sat had a coffee and a couple beers and waited it out.  He was good company and the time passed quickly.

Finally got the bus and arrived in Kragujevac at about 10am.  Got a cab to Dana’s and Kent’s house and she was at the gate waiting for me.  It was really good to finally be there and to see them again.  It has been a couple of years since we met in Chania.

There new house is big and beautiful and like a little oasis in the heart of town.  They have a small fenced in yard filled with beautiful landscaping and flowers everywhere you look.  If you didn’t know better you would think you were outside of town it is so peaceful and quite there.  It is perfect for them!

Rada the lady that sold the house to them owns another house in the same yard and is a really super nice person too.  She is a very friendly and bubbly person very positive and well educated. She has several degrees in medicine.  She is very kind and does many charitable things for the poor.

She took us around one day to see the different sights around town.  It was great stopped for some drinks and pastries along the way and had a great time.

We all talked and laughed together the whole time I was there.  It has been incredible and very comforting to have been able to see them again.

Dana is a gourmet cook and I think I gained 10 pounds in the days I was there.  The things you have to put up with.  I suffered through it though and endeavored to perceiver.  HAHA!

The city is the 4th largest in Serbia and was the original capital of Serbia before Belgrade.  It is also has many good universities.  I didn’t really see much of it but it was very peaceful and quiet for a big city.

I was only there for 6 days and it went by like a rocket.  We spent most of the time enjoying each others company.  About all I did is go to the market with Dana every day to get things for the days many meals.

The little puppy in the photos is Pi.  He is very very special because he is blind.  Although the Vet said he may gain back some of his sight he wasn’t sure.  They and the people they got him from didn’t know when they got him.  Of course they would never give him back.  He is such an incredible little dog.  You would never know he was blind if someone didn’t tell you.

He has no trouble navigating around or causing trouble!  He is so small and so so full of life.  His fur is the texture of a cats.  It is going to be amazing to watch him develop his many senses.  That is one things that dogs are really gifted with.  He is very lucky to have them and they are very lucky to have him!  He is a Great little dog!  It was a truly wonderful time and I will always remember it!

I am so blessed to know so many very very special people all over the world.  Nothing I can think of in my life could be better.  I am so so so fortunate it is absolutely amazing to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I would not trade all the money in the world for it.  It is truly living LIFE!!!!!
